Engine 500 is a 2005 Pierce Enforcer 6-man cab. It was purchased in 2005 to replace former Engine 500, a 1993 3D Spartan. It has a 1750 Gallon Per Minute pump manufactured by Hale.

Roslyn Fire Company uses Engine 500 as its first out piece on a multitude of fire calls. The Engine is equipped with various hand tools and other devices that can assist on a range of calls from fire alarms to building and dwelling fires. Its tank holds 750 gallons of water and carries 1 3/4" and 2 1/2" attack lines and 3 1/2", and 5" large diameter hose.
