The Roslyn Fire Company was dispatched
to call number 559 at approximately
18:23 hours for a report of heavy smoke
in a kitchen and visible fire at the residence
of 1822 Fairview Avenue in the Willow
Grove section of Abington Township.

Chief 500 and Engine 500 arrived on location
to find a moderate smoke condition with fire
contained inside the kitchen.

Crews from Engine 500 put a quick knock
on the fire and confirmed that all residents
were out of the structure.

Two pets were removed from the building
with no injuries.

The fire was placed under control at 18:36
and companies were made available.
