The Roslyn Fire Company was dispatched
to call number 162 at approximately
15:05 hours for a report of a dwelling fire
in a residence on the 2400 block of
Norwood Avenue .

Engine 500 arrived on location reporting
smoke showing with fire showing on side
D of the building .

Crews from Engine 500 and Squirt 100
quickly began placing a knock on the
fire which had extended into the attic.

Crews from 300 and 400 assisted in
gaining entry to the attic and rooftop
ventilation.

The fire was held in check and was placed
under control at 15:43 hours.
