The Roslyn Fire Company was dispatched
to call number 300 at approximately
04:21 hours for a reported dwelling fire on
the 1500 block of Edgehill Road .

County's initial report was then changed to
the 1500 block of Edgewood Rd in 500's
local and a redispatch was put out .

PD went on location with heavy smoke showing
and at least one occupant refusing to evacuate
the residence .

Chief 500 arrived and established 500 command
with a two story twin, heavy fire on the second floor.

Crews from Egnine 500 and Squirt 100 began an
interior attack while crews from Ladder 100 and
Tower 500 began ventilation and exposure protection.

Crews from Tower 500 found extension into the
other side of the twin and requested a handline in service.

Additional crews from Stations 400, 300 and 9
arrived and used all hands.

All residents were safely evacuated and the
fire was placed under control at 0450 hours.

Crews remained in service for extensive overhaul
and 500 was made available at 0650 hours.
